Beauty is more than just Skin Deep
The society we live in has conditioned us to giving so much importance to a way a person looks. Outer beauty is not going to last forever. People get so influenced by external factors – may be an ad for an outfit, a new makeup trend or hair style or just simply peer pressure.
Wearing the coolest watch or owning the latest gadget, wearing a mask of creams, scents, lotions to fit in what the society defines as ‘beautiful.” Advertisements don’t try to get us to buy a product so that we will be better people; they sell products by convincing us that we can be beautiful if we own them. Everyone is beautiful in their own way, which we fail to see many times. Often people are indifferent to others who don’t dress like them, or don’t follow the ‘norm’ or are just different.
The real beauty lies within and not how much you flaunt your outer self in public. If most people would use the time, they spend in front of a mirror to work on their inner beauty the world would truly be a beautiful place. If you feel beautiful and are content about it, then you will look beautiful outside. If you feel beautiful, you will exude a positive energy and light. You will feel better both physically and mentally. Once we as a society stop judging others on their outer appearance alone then the world will be a better place.
